Nike 50th Anniversary

House of Innovation PAR/002 took the execution and storytelling to the next level by introducing a robot archive assistant named DiNa to showcase the amazing stories from the Department of Nike Archives. This bespoke set up allows visitors to uncover the heritage of each item, via touch screen and intuitive UX, using the robot to retrieve selected items from the archive. Extra behind-the-design storytelling showcases AR 3D models, archive sketches, samples, photography recreated from original archive items.

House of Innovation NYC/000 showcased some of Nike’s greatest stories and artifacts to inspire the next generation of designers to create with us. The team partnered with local designers to create the “Future 50”, a series of makers courses that give everyone a chance to design custom pieces of Nike gear inspired by our 50 years of innovations, stories, and athletes.

House of Innovation SHA/001 curated an immersive showcase of some of Nike’s greatest stories of the past 50 years in partnership with the Department of Nike Archives. A “Future 50” makers experience was created using logos, sketches, and vintage ads, pulled directly from DNA archives, giving people the chance to create one of a kind products together with Nike. This bespoke experience allowed visitors to uncover the history of each archival element and craft a wearable collage signaling the mixture of culture and sport that Nike has created over the past 50 years.
