NikeLab x Riccardo Tisci // The Victorious Minotaurs Collection

Riccardo Tisci’s collaboration with NikeLab born from his obsession of hardwood heritage. To him, basketball players are heroes. “In the 90s, basketball players became kind of like rock stars,” he says. “But now, they are more than rock stars. They’re superhuman — representative of historic mythology.” That concept brought this fictional team of The Victorious Minotaurs to life through off-court apparel and footwear. We celebrated this dynamic collection of mens and women’s style at NikeLab 21 Mercer by bringing the Minotaur to life in the center with Greek mythology concept throughout the space.
